Setup Steps
Here’s how Linksys RE6500 setup is done using web browser:
First up assemble the hardware. Take out the antennas and by rotating them clockwise attach them securely to the extender. Keep the antennas upright for best results. Up next take the power adapter. Move it into the RE6500’s power port and then pick the entire hardware and deploy it strategically in the middle of the router and the area with wifi connectivity problems.

How To Reset The Extender?
Sometimes users wish to redo the configuration from scratch or they come across such a technical glitch that it becomes mandatory to conduct the resetting of the extender. So here’s how the reset can be done:
Firstly, power on the RE6500 wifi range extender.
Let its power LED turn stable white.
Then take a paperclip or a sturdy toothpick.
Turn the extender upside down and there you’ll find the small reset key.
Push this resetting key with the help of paperclip. Do not release it until the smart indicator starts to blink white. As the white light blinks release the pin and let the extender restart properly.
